Mark your calendar! Colorado Mountain College is thrilled to host its annual Sustainability & Ecosystem Science Conference on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This year’s virtual gathering highlights innovative, real‑world research from our graduating Integrated Sustainability and Ecosystem Science & Stewardship students, presenting work that directly impacts the health, resilience, and future of our mountain communities.
We’re also honored to welcome a special keynote from Len Necefer, Ph.D., who will present “Restoration and Resilience in Climate Solutions.” Dr. Necefer is known for weaving together engineering, public policy, Indigenous rights, climate action, and outdoor storytelling to spark bold new approaches to sustainability. Drawing from work in Arctic Alaska, the Navajo Nation, and the San Juan River, he’ll explore how curiosity, connection, and creativity can help us restore ecosystems and shape more resilient futures.
