Garden Upkeep & Problem-Solving Workshop
This is a chance for participants to bring their own gardening questions and challenges and get help from other experienced gardeners. Topics may include: planting, weeding, trellising, harvesting, pest control, nutrient management, and more!

Join fellow gardeners and garden enthusiasts on a tour of some of Leadville’s own flourishing backyard gardens! We will visit three different gardens around Leadville and learn tips and tricks from some of Leadville’s most experienced gardeners.

Intro to Power Tools for Womxn Workshop
This workshop is for womxn-identifying folks who want to learn the basics of using power tools for construction projects and gain confidence in a supportive environment. Workshop will include a hands-on building project that gives everyone plenty of opportunity to practice.

Pollinator Gardens Workshop
Come learn about how to select the correct plants to attract pollinators to your garden. We’ll be exploring the pollinator gardens at the Healy House museum and looking at real life examples of what plants will grow in Lake County.

Vegetables: Tomatoes, Jalapenos, Kale, Swiss Chard, Fennel, kohlrabi, Lettuce, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Napa Cabbage, Pac Choi, Cucumbers, Zucchini, Green Onions
Flowers: Alyssum, Calendula, Columbine, Lupine, Marigold, Nasturtium, Pasqueflowers, Icelandic Poppies, Oriental Poppies, Salvia, Viola, Zinnia, and other wildflowers — Plus wildflower seeds from Lake County Conservation District.
