This workshop is for women-identifying folks who want to learn the basics of using power tools for basic construction projects and gain confidence in a supportive environment.

Workshop will include a hands-on building project at Cloud City Farm that gives everyone plenty of opportunity to practice. 

Taught by retired CSU Extension Agent Susan Carter, this workshop will go over the basics of how to make your yard a friendly place for native plants and pollinators.  

Everything you ever wanted to know about earthtubs, backyard/ DIY composting, vermicomposting, and more!

This is a chance for participants to bring their own gardening questions and challenges and get help from other experienced gardeners. Topics may include: planting, weeding, trellising, harvesting, pest control, nutrient management, and more! 

Join fellow gardeners and garden enthusiasts on a tour of some of Leadville’s own flourishing backyard gardens!  We will visit three different gardens around Leadville and learn tips and tricks from some of Leadville’s most experienced gardeners.
