We are proud to offer a free residential Community Compost program at the Cloud City Farm!

Composting is currently open for residential drop-off 7 days a week. Please read our procedures carefully to ensure the safety of our participants and our staff.

Our compost program currently accepts: fruit & vegetable scraps, egg shells, nut shells and coffee grounds.

We do not accept: Meat, dairy, or bones, coffee filters, dryer lint, hair of any kind or vaccuum debris, fats or oils, paper products, “compostable” products (even BPI certified as they require a commercial compost facility and do not break down in our earth tubs), produce stickers, yard waste such as leaves, grass, weeds, etc.

COVID-19 COMPOSTING POLICY

Composting participants are responsible for washing/sanitizing their hands before and after visiting Cloud City Farm.

If you or anyone in your household is currently diagnosed with COVID-19 or in quarantine, please do not visit Cloud City Farm until 2 weeks after your last symptoms and please do not compost items from your home until 2 weeks after your last symptoms.
